Unmissable Prescott Long Course This Weekend!

Thursday 21 September 2017

This Saturday, the Vintage Sports-Car Club will return once more to one of the most popular Club event venues: Prescott Hill Climb.
The Long Course at Prescott will take place as a standalone event for the first time this year due to its immense popularity with both competitors and spectators.

The Hill Climb will provide a real spectacle for those watching trackside with the usual array of beautiful Edwardian, Vintage and PVT Racing and Sports-Cars. The weather is set to be bright, sunny, and dry with highs of 19°C, so no need to bring a raincoat!

Amongst the drivers, Ian Baxter and Nick Topliss will be returning to the course following their dead heat draw at the Prescott weekend in August. The two drivers were tied with an outstanding course time of 41.44 seconds. Will one of the pair take the crown of Fastest Time of the Day, or will one of the other 145 challengers take the spoils?

Off track, spectators can get up close and personal with historic cars in the designated Pre-war car park. Spectators can also peruse motorsport memorabilia and merchandise with a variety of trade stands and VSCC Regalia. If you fancy testing your skills as a driver, be sure to visit Computer Racing Simulations and have a go at racing up the hill! The Clubhouse at Prescott will also be serving food throughout the day.

Tickets are available on the day at £15 per person, with children under 16 going free. You can also purchase an event Programme for £3.
