VSCC at home on ‘Speed Street’ at Race Retro this weekend (21-23 February)

The International Historic Motorsport Show ‘Race Retro’ takes place this weekend, starting tomorrow Friday at Stoneleigh Park near Kenilworth, Warwickshire and as usual the VSCC will exhibit for the full three days alongside fellow Historic motorsport promoters on ‘Speed Street’ in Hall 2. You will find the VSCC stand in its traditional location adjacent to the HGPCA (Historic Grand Prix Cars Association).
In this significant year for the VSCC, we will be celebrating all things ‘80th’. In addition to promoting the Club’s own 2014 Programme of Events, including our Anniversary Week in August, we will be marking not one but two other 80th Anniversaries with our very special Pre-war Display Cars.
We share ERA R5B ‘Remus’ with the HGPCA, which will be on hand to mark 80 years of the revered Lincolnshire marque while also helping promote the feature ERA 80th Anniversary Race taking place at our Silverstone ‘Spring Start’ Race Meeting on 12/13 April; we also welcome a wonderfully original PVT Frazer Nash-BMW 319/55, to commemorate the signing of the contract between Frazer Nash and BMW also 80 years ago.
The Show opens at 9.30am on Friday morning and the Club are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the VSCC stand who will witness two of the most valuable cars at the Show on display.

On the day Adult tickets cost £26.00 each day and children aged 5-15 cost £7.00 on Friday and Saturday (free on Sunday).
