Entries closing for the Exmoor Fringe Trial today!

Monday 04 February 2013

The closing deadline for the first VSCC Trial of 2013 is upon us. If you still wish to submit your entry for the Exmoor Fringe Trial, please do so by the end of today (Monday 4 February).
Our annual Trial in the South-West takes place on Saturday 16 February, based once again at the Anchor Inn in Exebridge, with long-time Clerk of the Course Graham White at the helm. Following some planning difficulties over the past few weeks involving the recent outbreak of the Ash Dieback epidemic, Graham and his team have been working tirelessly to source a terrific selection of hills to challenge our competitors, including a number of new sections found only this weekend to replace those Forestry Commission locations lost this year. We hope that their sterling efforts will be rewarded with yet another full entry!

Any offers to marshal on the day are still also most welcome. Previous experience is not vital as we will ensure any novices are teamed with more experienced volunteers to help show them the ropes. If you would like to get involved, please email the marshalling co-ordinator, Ian Horsnell at i.k.horsnell@btopenworld.com.
