Entries Now Open for VSCC Pre-war Sports-Cars Race at the Castle Combe Autumn Classic

The Club are once again delighted to be part of the popular Castle Combe Autumn Classic on Saturday 7 October, where the Club’s Race for Pre-war Sports-Cars will again be part of an exciting programme of Historic racing.
The day will also include races for GT & Sports Cars, F3 (500s), 1950s Sports Cars, Pre-1966 Jaguars, Formula Juniors and Historic Aston Martins.
First held in 2012, the Autumn Classic – known as the ‘Mini Revival of the South West’ – has become one of the most popular events of the Historic Racing calendar, and the VSCC Race offers a great chance to enjoy a wonderfully relaxed and social day at one of the UK’s most historic venues, which will also include a number of Classic Car Club Displays, Parades and Demonstrations.
In previous years, the VSCC Race has opened the afternoon Race Programme, with our cars forming a popular ‘Spectator Grid Walk’ during the lunch break.
New this year, the VSCC Race will accommodate ALL Club eligible Pre-war Sports-Cars, with entries accepted from any road-going cars classified as Standard, Modified or Special.
Also in a change from previous formats, the VSCC will be taking entries directly for this event, which means we are able to offer you better value for money, seeing entry fees drop from £280 to £265 for a 15 minute practice and 20 minute race.
Entry Fee: £265 Closing Date: Monday 25 September
Entries are now open so don’t delay – download Supplementary Regulations and an Entry Form, the latter to print, complete and return to the Office (email/fax accepted) or you can enter online from the Event page (CLICK HERE). Remember you will need to know the Buff Form number of the car you wish to enter and have a current payment card registered with the Club to use the online entry facility.

Concessions are available for Seniors, whilst we also encourage Club Members to attend in their Pre-war cars – Pre-1980 Individual Display passes (admits Driver only) are also available to purchase via the link above.
