75th Anniversary Celebrations
The
Vintage Sports-Car Club is celebrating its
75th Anniversary
during 2009.
The focus of the celebrations is a week of events in early
August centred in Malvern, Worcestershire. The
week
commences with the Great Garden Party of Motoring at the VSCC Prescott
Speed
Hill Climb on Friday 31 July, Saturday 1& Sunday 2
August and
thereafter events will be based at the Three Counties Showground,
Malvern (from
Monday 3 August – Saturday 8 August). The week will include a
wide range of
competitive, touring, rallying, social, sightseeing and fun events,
ensuring
that there is something for everyone.
Where
to Stay
We
are encouraging everyone to camp
at the Three Counties Showground so that we can create our own
‘Vintage
Village’
at the Three Counties
Show Ground. There is plenty of space, and a large number of electrical
‘hook-ups’ will be available (£35
additional
cost) , and there will be
‘quiet’ and ‘noisy’ camping
areas, on-site catering, bars, cinemas and, we
hope, hundreds of Pre-war motor cars and their fans.

10/6/09: There
are still camping pitches available during the celebration week, the
costs are now as follows;
Tents: £8 per night
Caravans: £12 per night
Motorhomes: £15 per night
Electrical
hook up: £35

you still have your white entry form that came in your Malvern pack

Please
note that dogs are allowed on the showground but not on the competetive
events such as the Sprints and the Rally.

Secretary of your one make car club and ask them to publicise the day
to their
members who may not be VSCC members?
There will also be a 'Grand Autojumble' to which Club members and the
