THE BOB GERARD MEMORIAL TROPHY MEETING

MALLORY PARK, NR HINCKLEY, LEICESTERSHIRE 

An action packed day of racing gets underway with practice at 9.30am.  The afternoon sees eleven races, with some superb highlights including:

The Dick Baddiley Trophy for Edwardian Racing Cars

The John Taylor Memorial Trophy for Formula Junior Cars

Standard Sports-Car Race for Standard and mildly Modified Pre-war sports-cars

Voiturette Trophy Race for racing cars up to 1100cc

Austin 7 Cars and MG Cars Handicap Race for Pre-war Cars

The Vintage Racing Car Race for Pre-1931 Racing Cars

And the highlight of the event:

The Bob Gerard Race for front engined F1, F2 and Tasman Pre-1958  historic racing cars. 

This race has attracted seven Cooper Bristols including Graham Burrows in the ex-Bob Gerard 1953 Mk 2 Cooper Bristol and Mac Hulbert in ERA R4D.
