THE SHUTTLEWORTH TROPHIES, CADWELL PARK CIRCUIT, LOUTH, LINCOLNSHIRE, LN11 9SE

SATURDAY 19 JUNE

THE VINTAGE WEEKEND!

Vintage Weekend

For many years Cadwell has been the highlight of the season with full grids, big crowds and close racing around the challenging undulating circuit. This year the VSCC event is on the Saturday, and the Vintage Motor Cycle Club will race there on the Sunday: so it will be a great Vintage weekend of historical machinery.

VSCC Races will feature the usual varied line up of VSCC races for Pre-war cars.  The feature race is the Shuttleworth, Nuffield and Len Thompson Memorial Trophies race for Grand Prix Cars and F2 cars built before 1961.  Spectators will also enjoy watching The John Holland Trophy for Vintage Racing cars (built before 1931), The Geoghegan Trophy Race for Standard and Modified Pre-War Sports-Cars, the Melville Trophy for Special Sports-cars.  There are also two Scratch races and two Handicap races for Pre-war Cars.

Guest grids include The Spero Trophy for Vintage and PVT cars up to 1100cc, a Frazer Nash/GN handicap race and a Formula 3 (500) race.

A good day is sure to be had all round. Disabled access is good at Cadwell and you can drive to many parts of the circuit to view the racing but it is quite a hilly circuit.
