Names of all Marshals involved with a speed event have their names put into a hat and monetary prizes are awarded.... £50 first prize, £30 second prize and £20 for third prize. We are delighted to welcome the support of Maison Louis Latour as sponsors of the Post-Race awards at the Club’s Race Meetings in 2016.
Maison Louis Latour is a vineyard owner and wine producer from Burgundy in France. The company was founded in 1797 and is the oldest house in Burgundy still in original family ownership. Today it is led by Louis-Fabrice Latour who is the 11th generation and 7th Louis Latour.
Louis Latour makes wines in Burgundy, Beaujolais and the South of France. They are known for the breadth of their range and have wines to suit almost every occasion. They are fortunate to own 50 hectares of vineyard in the Côte d’Or, Burgundy’s heartland, which include the largest single holding of Grand Cru vineyards in the area.
Long ago Louis Latour recognised that pressure on demand in Burgundy would lead to rising process and shortages. This has led them to look outside the Cote d’Or has early as the 1920s all the way up until the present days and has led to wines from the Mâconnais region becoming widely available and to their highly respected projects in the Ardèche and Provence.

Blue Diamond has long had a desire to develop the next generation of driving talent, and the company is now capable of that having become the sponsor of a Vintage Sports-Car Club series, purely so it can support the youth winner.
For 2019, Blue Diamond will be the awards sponsor for the VSCC Speed Championship, which is based around speed trials and hillclimbs. The championship will have a new trophy for the winner of the Young Persons Award, aptly named the Blue Diamond Trophy, which will extend to entry fees being covered for the 2020 Speed Season.
