This year a Tour of parts of Norfolk will start from the Snetterton Racetrack, Norfolk, on the Saturday morning, September 16th, with the site also simultaneously hosting the VSCC Snetterton Weekend. The Tour is intended to be an adjunct to the other weekend events, and to especially appeal to those who may want to explore a few hours of alternative activity to that occurring within the confines of the track.
The poet and author, Sir John Betjeman had much to say in his writings about North Norfolk and The Broads, besides his better known works on “Metroland” to the north and west of London, and we will try to include some of his observations in the Tour Booklet currently in preparation.
This Tour is intended to leave the track from about 9.30am, to be of approximately 50- 60 miles duration, and to allow participants to be back at Snetterton by about 2pm in time for the afternoon’s on site activities. No booking arrangements for lunch have been made, but the route will be designed to pass various hostelries and we also plan to have a “main” stop mid-Tour with items of interest plus toilet and eating facilities. Breakfast baps with tea and Coffee are provided at the Start with Cake and tea once back at Snetterton.
Entries are now open.

£15 Entry Fee including a breakfast bap at the start and tea and Coffee upon return to Snetterton.
