Ray Edge Highly Commended at MSA Awards

The VSCC offer sincere congratulations to the Club’s Chief Marshal, Ray Edge who was ‘Highly Commended’ in the Marshals Category of the JLT MSA Club and Volunteer of the Year Awards for 2017.
Ray is a prominent Member of the VSCC and has been our Chief Marshal for over 20 years. He has volunteered in a wide variety of roles to help ensure that VSCC Race and Speed events were properly and professionally marshalled.
Whilst Ray will step down from his position as Chief Marshal in the New Year, he will continue to Marshal at Club events, so you can be sure to see him throughout 2018.
On receipt of his award a typically humble Ray remarked “I don’t think I deserve such an accolade for doing the most enjoyable job in the Club.”
