Exmoor Fringe Trial This Saturday

Thursday 15 February 2018

Almost one hundred Pre-war cars will gather for the Club’s first Trial of 2018. The Exmoor Fringe has become a popular fixture on the Club’s calendar and the variety of entries expected at The Anchor in Exebridge for the weekend bears ample testimony to this fact.
The Exmoor Fringe gives the Club’s Trialists their first sight of VSCC Club action since last November’s Cotswold Trial. The two-month break has given ample opportunity for repairs and recovery, doubtless one of the reasons behind the bumper entry.

The pre-event chatter will no doubt focus on such subjects as can Paul Jeavons make it three years in a row in Class 2? Martin Hunt is set to return in his 4½ litre Le Man Bentley, which he is the first to admit is perhaps one of the least suitable Trials car, but one that still gives exceptional enjoyment.  Overall the pre-event favourite has to be Simon Price, but can he continue his winning ways?

Please note that this is a NON-SPECTATOR event.
