The VSCC secures Octane Magazine as Print Media Partner in a New Multi-Year Partnership

Monday 25 June 2018

The Vintage Sports-Car Club (VSCC) is delighted to announce a new partnership with Dennis Publishing’s Octane magazine. With Octane as the Club’s new Print Media Partner, the multi-year deal will see the prestigious historic sporting club work together with the magazine in a number of key areas, including mutual commercial opportunities and an enhanced Octane presence around some of the VSCC’s many and varied events.
Octane recognises that the Vintage Sports-Car Club has been, in many ways, a bedrock and forerunner of the whole classic car movement that we enjoy today, with important historic motorsport events such as the Prescott Speed Hill Climb, near Gotherington, Gloucestershire, (4-5 August 2018) being integral to many a motoring aficionado’s annual calendar.

As part of the new partnership, VSCC members will enjoy access to a special subscription offer and Octane will benefit from an enhanced pre-war car focus. Furthermore, we will be working together on some exciting events for 2019 and beyond which will be announced over the coming months. The VSCC will continue to work with a wide range of media editorially, underlining its position as the premier historic motor sporting club on a global scale.

Speaking about the partnership, Dave Salmon, Club Secretary and CEO of the VSCC said, ‘We are delighted to announce this new and exciting partnership, which will introduce a number of progressive initiatives for both VSCC members and Octane readers. We are, of course, always pleased to work with all areas of the media and our many friends and colleagues who support the Club over a range of publications are welcome, as ever, to attend VSCC events. However, the new partnership will give us great basis to build towards the Club’s 85th anniversary year in 2019, along with some exciting new activities. On behalf of the VSCC, I would like to thank Octane and Dennis Publishing for their continued support of the Club.’

James Elliott, Editor in Chief of Octane, said ‘Octane has enjoyed a long and strong relationship with the VSCC and we see the partnership as a natural progression of this alliance. I am confident that, working together, we will be able to offer more to our readers and Club members alike.’
