Jim Adams Trophy Winners

Monday 04 February 2019

The JIM ADAMS MEMORIAL TROPHY is awarded annually to the
person with the highest points score accumulated for marshalling at
any main VSCC event, both speed and non-speed. The list of eligible
events are published annually. Marshalling on each day of an event
will score one point. The trophy may be won more than once by the
same individual.

Third place for the 2018 season goes to Angie Jones, scoring 18 points, who is regular Hill Chief on VSCC Trials.  Angie is a member of the Marshals Sub-Committee, helps out at both Race and Speed events and has recently been appointed as the Clubs Deputy Chief Marshal for non-speed events.

This year’s second place goes to Karen Morton who is has become a mainstay of the VSCC marshalling community. Karen, who scored 22 points, has also recently taken on the role of Deputy Chief Marshal for Race and Speed.

This year we are blessed with two very worthy award winners for the JIM ADAMS TROPHY. Both of these winners can be found at all type of VSCC event and are Chiefs within their respective roles. Our sincere   congratulations to Jim Wood and John Williams who both scored 23 points and will share the JIM ADAMS MEMORIAL TROPHY.
