Dan England Award Winner

Monday 18 February 2019

The DAN ENGLAND AWARD is the Club's young marshal award and the recipient is selected by the Club Office and Senior Officials. The recipient must be under 23 years of age on 1 January of the year in question but need not be a member of the VSCC.

The award is presented (not necessarily annually) at the Marshals' Dinner following judging by a special award committee who may consider nominations for anyone and will consider regularity in marshalling, responsibility shown in conduct, tenacity and dedication.

This year’s winner joined the VSCC in 2010. Her first event marshalling for the Club was the Lakeland Trial in 2014 and she is now a member of the paddock team at Speed events and a hill marshal on Trials. We look forward too many more years of seeing her out and about on VSCC events.

The winner of the DAN ENGLAND AWARD is Harriett Turley.
