Marshals required for the first VSCC Trial of the season

Are you looking for a New Years Resolution that doesn't involve giving up something that you love? Then why not make your resolution to give something back to the Club and sport that you love the most and support the VSCC by marshalling this year?
One of the Club’s most popular and well-supported disciplines, the VSCC 2014 Trials Season is almost upon us and begins, as is tradition, with the Exmoor Fringe Trial on Saturday 15 February. We are still seeking marshals to support this event.

Long-time helmsman Graham White once again takes the reins for the Club’s annual February pilgrimage to the South-West and the traditional Trials season curtain-raiser and will no doubt be offering a challenging but exciting day’s competition, based again at the cosy and familiar surroundings of the Anchor Inn in Exebridge. Blessed with its thick forests, muddy fields and rolling moors, Exmoor is undoubtedly a stunning location to trial so do not miss the chance to take part in one of the Club’s most loved events – just be sure to wrap up warm as Winter cold is sure to be in full swing!
Marshals Still Required!
We are still looking for a number of volunteers to marshal the sections on the day. If you would like to offer your help, please email andy.halstead@vscc.co.uk.
Marshalling is one of the easiest ways to get up close to the action at all VSCC events. Hill Chiefs are appointed to each section, who are experienced marshals responsible for the smooth running of the hill and for guiding those less experienced marshals who are part of their team. You need no previous experience, so if you have never marshalled on a VSCC event this is a great opportunity to get involved.
If you still haven't entered, then don't delay as entries close on Monday 3 February. Members can enter online or download an Entry Form to print and return from the Event Page (CLICK HERE). You will need to have a current payment card lodged with the Office and know the Buff Form number of the car you wish to enter if using the online facility.
