90 Days and Counting . . .

Wednesday 26 March 2014

2014 sees the VSCC celebrate its 80th Anniversary in style with a number of special events to celebrate this important milestone in the history of the Club. Entries close for all of these events 90 days from today on Monday 23 June.
The Club is organising a week-long celebration from 4 – 9 August 2014, based at the East of England Showground, Peterborough, which incorporates a broad range of events designed to cater for all types of Pre-war motoring.

Entries are already being invited for all of these events (full details can be found here), through the usual methods, of Online Entries, Downloadable Entry Forms and sending a SAE to the Club Office.

We are delighted with the level of entries received to date, with an average of less than 60% capacity remaining across the thirteen events we are currently accepting entries for, with some events now having as little as 20% capacity available.

We would therefore like to remind all Members to complete their Entry Forms soon in order to avoid disappointment, as entries for all Anniversary Events are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Entries close for all events on Monday 23 June 2014, which is only 90 days away . . . however, we anticipate many events being full prior to this deadline, so please don’t delay putting your entries in!

The week culminates with ‘A Vintage Day Out’, during which members of the Public will be invited onto the showground to experience the world of Vintage, Post-Vintage and Historic motoring at its best. Members and the Public alike will experience Hundreds of Vintage and Pre-1960 Cars, Anniversary-themed Car Displays, featuring ERAs, Frazer Nash / BMWs and the Riley Register, alongside an extensive Trade Village, Childrens Entertainment and a Commemorative Area dedicated to the Great War.
