Closing Deadline Extended for the Pomeroy Trophy, Silverstone, Saturday 23 February 2013

Deadline for entries for The Pomeroy Trophy have been extended until Thursday 14 February - don't miss out and submit your entries now!
Since its inception 61 years go, the “Pom” has earned cult status as a true “one-off” in the motorsport world. Through a number of driving tests of speed and agility, a ‘suitcase test’, followed by 40-minute Regularity Trial around Silverstone’s National Circuit, the Club’s special formula will help us calculate the best GT car of all time.
The Pomeroy Trophy is the only VSCC event open to any type of road car over 1949cc or 1495cc if super-charged or turbo-charged (Pre-war cars must exceed 1495cc – Buff Forms not required!)
Entry Fees*: £82 for Pre-war cars £170 for Post-war cars
* Remember, Half-Price entry fees are now available to all Club Members under 30 years old on 1 January 2013.
Hurry! Entries now close at the end of day Thursday 14 February. VSCC Membership and a National B Race Licence (minimum) required.
Download event Supplementary Regulations and Entry Form or, for those entering a car with a current buff form number (i.e. Pre-war only) and with a current credit card lodged with the Club enter online, at the event page HERE.
And don’t forget the ‘Pom’ will be the perfect warm up for April…
Entries are now open for our Silverstone ‘Spring Start’ Race Meeting on 20/21 April, which becomes a two-day spectacular for 2013. The weekend will feature our prestigious GP Itala Trophy races and a number of celebrated grids from the world of Pre-war and Historic motor sport, whilst Sunday races will be broadcast live on Motors TV.
