VSCC Annual Awards, AGM and Marshals' Dinner & Forum Weekend

As tradition, our Annual Awards Dinner & Presentation, AGM and Marshals' Dinner & Forum will be combined on the same weekend next year, taking place on 18/19 March 2016 at the Hilton Hotel, Warwick, Stratford Rd, Warwick CV34 6RE.

Annual Awards Dinner – Friday 18 March, 7.00 for 7.30pm 

We will host the Annual Awards Dinner to celebrate the achievements of the Club’s 2015 Award Winners at the Hilton Hotel Warwick.  Please join us to enjoy a fine meal and the presentation of the illustrious awards in the company of our guest of honour.
 
The Dinner is open to all Club Members and their guests, but in the event of over-subscription priority will be given to the award winners and their guests.  Only the awards being collected on the night will be specifically mentioned, but there will be a roll of honour on display which will reflect all of our award winners. 

The cost is £35 per person (with a special 20% reduction for award winners) or £315 for tables of ten and this will include a three course meal with wine to order, alongside the presentation of the illustrious awards in the company of our guest of honour. Annual General Meeting – Saturday 19 March, 10.30am 

The Club’s Annual General Meeting will be held in the Avon Suite at the Hilton Hotel Warwick.  A formal calling notice for acceptance of the Club’s Annual Report and Accounts for 2015 was issued in the October copy of the Newsletter.  Club Members are invited to attend the meeting and to take the opportunity to discuss with Directors and fellow Members the performance of the Club in 2015 and the plans for the future.
 

Marshals’ Forum and Dinner – Saturday 19 March 

The Marshals’ Forum and Marshals’ Dinner will be held after the Annual General Meeting.  The Forum will be in the afternoon and is open to all who marshal or compete at VSCC events. 

Following tradition, the Marshals’ Dinner is by invitation only and will take place in the evening (6.30 for 7.30pm).  Invitations have now been sent to all invitees; recipients please ensure to RSVP as soon as possible (and no later than 7 March).

Accommodation (UPDATED)
 
The Club's Special Offer with the venue is now ended. Rooms at The Hilton Hotel Warwick can be booked through the hotel directly (call central reservations on 0800 856 8000) or via a third party booking site.  
 
There is also overnight accommodation available almost directly over the main road in the Holiday Inn Express Warwick which can be booked either direct with the hotel or through a third party agent, depending on availability.
 
 
A Reminder – Ballot Papers for Election of Directors
 
Don’t forget to submit your vote for the Election of Directors; you will have received your ballot paper and the candidate profiles with your February Newsletter.
 
Please remember to return your ballot papers by post to reach the Club Office at least 2 clear days before the Annual General Meeting (to arrive no later than Thursday 17 March) or hand the paper to
Andy Conway, the appointed Scrutineer, no later than 10.00am on the day of the AGM
 
Duplicate ballot papers will not be issued under any circumstances.
