65th Pomeroy Trophy - Silverstone

Saturday 15 February 2020

Entry is FREE to spectators
One of the Club’s highlights of its sporting and social year, the “Pom” is rooted in motoring history, and seeks to identify the perfect touring car. A complex set of rules, which some claim to understand, means that vintage cars can compete alongside their modern counterparts on an equal footing. So equal, that it is nigh-on impossible to predict a winner. It could be a 1920s Vauxhall (which would be appropriate, given Mr Pomeroy’s association with that marque), a 1950s yank tank, a 1960s Mini Cooper S, a 1970s Ford Capri, or 1990s Porsche Boxster. Whatever claims victory, it will provide spectators with an unmissable day’s entertainment.

Entry is FREE to spectators, come along and enjoy the spectacle - the 'tests' start at 9.00am with the speed tests on the Grand Prix Circuit from 1.00pm.
