AGM on 22 May 2021 and Report & Accounts for 2020

Tuesday 04 May 2021

Information regarding the procedures we will follow in managing this year’s AGM on 22 May 2021 and a link to an electronic copy of the Report and Accounts.
Personal attendance - you are all welcome to attend the meeting at Gaydon.  It will start at 11.00.  However, due to Covid restrictions that will still be in force, we are limited to an audience of just 100.  Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so if you want to attend in person, please contact Tania at TOPO.  You can do this by phone or email.  As soon as all places are taken, we will advise those who were successful.  Obviously if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid we ask you not to travel to Gaydon.

Proxy votes - with this system, proxy votes will be important.  There are three motions on which you are entitled to vote - adoption of the accounts, appointment of the accountants and the changes to the Club’s Articles.  There will be a conventional vote by show of hands at Gaydon, but obviously only 100 members will be there, so if you wish to cast a vote on any or all of these, and are not able to attend, please use the proxy form which is in the Newsletter.  Please note: you cannot vote on the main resolutions via Zoom as this method is not permitted under the current Articles.  You can only vote in person or by proxy.

Zoom - as per last year, the event will be live-streamed via Zoom.  A link will be sent out to enable any member to join.  In addition to being able to follow all the proceedings and hear the results of the votes, you can also ask written questions during Any Other Business.

For those who only receive an electronic version of the Newsletter, a copy of the 2020 Annual Report and Accounts is now to be found in the Classified Documents section of the website.

If you have any specific questions regarding this event, please contact Tania.
