Cumbrian Tour

Planning for this year’s Cumbria Tour on Wednesday 10^th June is well underway. The event will start from Bassenthwaite Sailing Club in Dubwath, CA13 9YD, (well known in the Lakeland Trial’s community). There’s plenty of parking for trailers and cars in the sailing club’s grounds.

The tour will be in the form of a figure of eight route starting and finishing at the sailing club through some of England’s finest scenery and with the option to eat your picnic lunch at the club whilst overlooking the lake and Skiddaw, England’s 4^th highest mountain. We will have the club to ourselves so there will be plenty of space to relax over your picnic lunch. Alternatively, you could have lunch at one of the many cafés and restaurants on the route. 

The entry fee will include complementary tea or coffee all day, route instructions and details of places of interest on the way.

The event will be open to pre 1956 cars from local motor clubs and there will be plenty of opportunities to socialise.
