VSCC Mallory Park Race Meeting

We are excited to announce that VSCC racing will take place at the much-loved Mallory Park circuit in Leicestershire on Sunday 23 August.

An exciting 9 race programme will take place in the afternoon following the morning practice sessions, note; this is not the timetable order:
  • Vintage and Pre-1961 Racing Cars
  • Standard and Modified Pre-war Sports-Cars 
  • Frazer Nash Challenge Race
  • Austin 7/MG Challenge Race
  • 2 x Allcomers Scratch Races
  • 2 x Allcomers Handicap Races
  • The John Taylor Memorial Race for Front-engined Formula Juniors




A stricly limited number of spectator tickets are available in advance from the circuit website:

Spectators will not be able to access the paddock area and will be resticted to viewing from the outside of the circuit. Spectating at Mallory Park is excellent due to its high vantage points with particular favourites being at the hairpin and looking down on the Devil's Elbow.

Refreshments and toilets will be available. Spectators should maintain social distancing guidelines and any further requirements from the circuit and/or the VSCC.

Practice Sessions commence at 0930hrs; 9 races start after lunch at 1300hrs:

Race 1 – Allcomers Scratch Race – 12 Minutes
Race 2 – John Holland Trophy for Vintage & Pre ’61 Racing Cars – 15 Minutes
Race 3 – Mallory Mug for Standard & Modified Pre-war Sports Cars – 15 Minutes
Race 4 – MG vs Austin 7 Challenge Race – 12 Minutes
Race 5 – HSCC/FJHRA Historic Front-Engined Formula Junior Championship– 20 Minutes
Race 6 – Allcomers Handicap Race – 12 Minutes
Race 7 – Race for Frazer Nash/GN Cars – 12 Minutes
Race 8 – Allcomers Handicap Race – 12 Minutes
Race 9 – Allcomers Scratch Race – 12 Minutes

Entries are now open, please enter online where possible, entries close 11th August. Longstone Tyres are generously supporting our Under 30 drivers by paying for an additional race if they enter at least on race themselves.

Competitors should expect certain restrictions due to the Covid-19 situation. Signing-on, scrutineering and drivers' briefings will be done remotely, electronically or be self-declared.

Competitors will need to submit contact details of those attending with them for Track and Trace records.

Practice times, grid sheets and race results will only be available online.

By Car: From the M1 junction 21 and M69 junction 3, follow the B4114 towards Narborough. At the first island turn right onto the B582 signposted Enderby and follow this road to the junction with the A47. Turn left at the traffic lights and follow the brown tourist information signs to reach the circuit.

By Rail: The closest train station to Mallory Park is Hinckley, located just 5 miles away from the circuit.
