Run since 1952, the Pomeroy Trophy is one of the Club’s most distinctive competitions and sets out to identify the best touring motor car through a mixture of acceleration, braking, manoeuvrability and high-speed performance.

Pre-war cars compete alongside much newer machinery, making the event unlike anything else in the VSCC calendar.

The Pomeroy is one of the few Club events where spectators can watch radically different cars being tested against the same underlying formula.

The day combines the precision of the morning tests with the spectacle of sustained circuit running at Silverstone.
