Silverstone
03 Apr 2027
Spring Start at Silverstone is the traditional opening meeting of the VSCC race season.
The programme brings together Pre-war sports and racing cars with selected historic machinery and has long combined scratch and handicap racing with major Club trophies.
A High Speed Trial has also been a regular feature of the meeting.
Spring Start combines a full VSCC race paddock with one of the best opportunities of the year to see the cars at speed on a major circuit.
Recent meetings have also included a lunchtime grid walk, giving spectators unusually close access to cars and competitors.
