The Lakeland Trial is one of the Club’s most iconic late-season fixtures, taking competitors onto demanding sections in the rugged autumn landscape of the Lake District.
Long, stony climbs, mud and steep gradients combine with one of the most dramatic settings in the VSCC calendar.

Spectators are only able to see the action  at Honister Slate Mine has been the principal public section, but only the locations listed in the 2027 spectator information should be used.

Spectator Leaflet will be available here about 7 days before the event.
