The Vintage Sports-Car Club and Cadwell Park join together to celebrate 80th Anniversaries this weekend

There will be double cause for celebration this Saturday 7 June for the VSCC’s annual visit to Cadwell Park as both establishments mark their 80th Anniversaries this year. The Club held their first meeting at the Lincolnshire venue on 29 August 1976, returning almost every year since; with their Pre-war and Historic meetings regularly the most well attended four-wheeled events at the traditional bikers’ circuit.

The closing deadline for the 2014 Brooklands Double Twelve Motor Sport Festival is fast-approaching. Incorporating the VSCC Speed Trials, the Double Twelve Driving Tests and the Double Twelve Concours, the weekend is a highlight of the motorsport calendar, with its wide array of classes catering for all manner of Edwardian, Vintage and Post-war machinery. Don't miss your chance to compete at the hallowed Brooklands venue and submit your entries now - remember that you must enter for any two of the three competitive elements to qualify for the prestigious Double Twelve competition.

One of the most popular disciplines within the VSCC, there is little surprise that our Wiscombe Park Hill Climb will welcome another fantastic entry this Sunday 11 May to celebrate the start of the Club’s 80th Anniversary Hill Climb Season. Over 100 Pre-war and Historic Racing and Sports-Cars will descend on the stunning grounds of Wiscombe House, home to the Chichester family since 1953 located east of nearby Ottery St Mary, near Honiton in Devon, to take part in one of the Club’s most popular events.
