Now in its 49th year this seminal event, The Lakeland Trial, will take place in what is now designated a World Heritage Site. 
Again Drumhouse and Routenbeck Rise will feature which demand skill and experience.  No Whinlatter Forest this year due to harvesting operations but plenty of hills in Hobcarton and Beck Wythop Forests.
The HQ for the event is The Wheatsheaf Inn at Low Lorton, Cumbria
The only spectator hill is Drumhouse at Honister Slate Mine which has plenty of car parking (paid).
Refreshments are available in the Skyhigh Café at the Slate Mine
Vintage/PVT/Fire Extinguisher/Spill Kit/Towing eye or strap
No trailers at scrutineering at the  Honsiter Slate Mine or the Whinlatter Visitor Centre

Entries open at 21.00pm Friday 15 September.
and Close on Monday 30 October.
