Welcome to the new look www.vscc.co.uk

Monday 17 December 2012

Welcome to the all new VSCC website.  Once you get used to the new look and feel you will find the new site is much easier to navigate and use.  There is a lot more information on this site, which is much easier to access.
There will be a few teething problems, and we ask that you log your issue in the ‘Report a Bug’ section of the forum rather than calling the Club office.
If you can’t immediately see your most visited section of the website we have collated a list of the locations of some of the most used features and a list of the new areas that you can enjoy.

HELP I CANT FIND......

The FORUM
The FORUM is located under the NEWS Menu. You will need to log in with your membership number and PIN as usual. If you cannot remember this go to the ‘My Account’ section in the top right hand corner and use the ‘Lost your Password’ function.

CLASSIFIED ADVERTS
Adverts of the type that are printed in the Newsletter of cars for sale, services and spares are located in the SHOP menu.

ENTER AN EVENT
Simply click on the EVENTS menu...find the event ( the full list of events is displayed if you are a Club member, otherwise you can only see the Public Events) and you can make it easier by using the filters on the right hand side for event type, date etc and click on ‘Enter Event’ which will take you to the online entry system.  This system is similar to the old system but you will find it more straight forward, less clunky and easier to use.

MARSHAL AN EVENT
As above but instead of clicking on the ‘Enter Event’ link, click on the ‘Marshal Event’ link.

PUB MEETS
See a Map with all of the Club’s ‘Nogin and Natters’ across the country with information about where and when the meet is and links to the pub websites.  Search by area and use Google maps to  get you there! Located in the EVENTS menu under EVENT TYPES.

GALLERY
Photos are now linked to the Event directly. So click on the event...i.e. Measham Rally 2012 and you will see all the photos uploaded from that event scrolling across the bottom.  We have only so far copied photos from 2012 events.

MEDIA
if you are an approved member of the VSCC Media, send in your event requests through the MEDIA menu.

ENHANCED AREAS
