The Hertfordshire ‘Open Country’
Tour 2024
On Sunday 23rd June we will meet
again on the avenue at Fairclough Hall Farm to enjoy bacon rolls, coffee and a chat before setting off around the best vintage touring roads the Home Counties
have to offer (we may be somewhat biased here…). This year we are taking you on
a North and South route, exploring the leafy lanes of the Southern part of the
county - staying far enough from London to avoid the traffic - and then up to
the more open, Big Country of North Herts and East Bedfordshire. We’ll have
some interesting distractions on the way including a great new lunch venue
with something to please the equine-oriented and a display of pre-war
motorcycles at the finish, where the Hales will once again treat us to a
great array of cake. As with other Hertfordshire Tours a proper summertime
lunch will be on offer at a very reasonable price - plated up this
year to avoid any unseemly squabbling at the buffet table!

you again and of course to welcoming new Tourists.
