Scottish Tour

VSCC Scottish Tour - 9th & 10th May 2026 Expressions of Interest 

Planning is well under way for this event. Please confirm your interest in entering by emailing one of the organisers (contact details below). This will help us to gauge numbers. 

Based in the historic county town of Hawick, the home of various cashmere and knitwear companies, we have two driving tours through the gorgeous countryside of the Scottish Borders. Each tour will be up to 80 miles per day.

Hawick is easily accessible off the A7 Edinburgh - Carlisle road for those travelling either from further north in Scotland or from England. Alternatively, from north east England there is the A68 & A6088.

As well as interesting driving roads we hope to include the option of various attractions along the way. The tour will be based at the Mansfield House Hotel, Hawick where rooms are available on a first come first served basis. Please enquire at the hotel for prices. If there is sufficient interest we will arrange a dinner on the Saturday evening.

Entries will be available to VSCC members and members of MSUK affiliated clubs. Pre-1940 cars preferred, other cars at the organisers discretion. The entry fee for the Tour weekend is £45 including tea and coffee at the end of each tour. Entrants may do both days or just one day. The entry fee is fixed regardless. There is no requirement to stay at the hotel.
