2015 is the 65th Anniversary of The Measham Rally, an event for the true vintage sports motoring enthusiast. It was first run in 1950, and is one of the most important events in the VSCC calendar. Always organised by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, a finish, let alone an award, on any Measham is a major accomplishment of which any motor sports competitor can be proud.

We are delighted that the very experienced team of John Potter and Brian Hughes, assisted by Jonathan and Sue Swales, will be organising this year’s event along traditional lines.

The start, halfway and finish will be at Thirsk Auction Mart, an excellent venue, easy to get to with dual carriageway all the way from the south!  Ample trailer parking, undercover scrutineering and fettling facilities and plenty of plotting room. Drinks and hot food will be available from the Gavel Bar on site.

There are some great village pubs with rooms and B&Bs in the area. The fast class will follow a route of 180 miles, with a reduction for the slower cars, instructions will be by map reference only, the emphasis being on accurate timekeeping and there will be a section timed to the second to act as a tie decider.
VSCC Rallies are not really suitable for spectators, however, you would be welcome to attend the start venue to wave the cars away.
