Entries Close Tonight for the Brooklands Double Twelve Driving Tests

We would like to remind all VSCC Members that entries will be closing at the end of day today (Wednesday 29 May) for the Double Twelve Driving Tests being held at Brooklands on Sunday 16 June.
Taking on a new one-day format for 2013, and adopting the well established VSCC Class Structure, we have already received a strong entry for the event, but still have room for those of you who would like to brush up on your driving skills and take part in a high profile event.
As well as the traditional Pre-war Classes, we are also hosting a number of Post-war Classes, so if your Pre-war machine isn’t ready to compete, why not enter a more modern machine for this historically important event?
Kevin Lee, our regular New Year Driving Test Clerk of the Course, is once again in command and will be designing both challenging and fun tests for all those entered. As usual we will be making use of Test Hill, the Banking and the Finishing Straight, along with a couple of additional new sites especially for the Double Twelve this year.
The Double Twelve Motorsport Festival is one of the biggest events which is currently held on this historic site of Brooklands Museum, and sees thousands of spectators visit the site over the weekend. In addition to the Driving Tests (Sunday), there is also a VSCC Speed Trials (Saturday) and a Concours Competition (both days), plus Trade Village, Children’s Entertainment, Jazz Band and the wonderful Museum exhibits. Competitors and Marshals are also welcome to camp on the Museum site during Friday and Saturday night.
In addition to a day’s motorsport, all entrants will benefit from free-of-charge hospitality for the day for two people, laid on by the sponsors of the Double Twelve.
Competitors wishing to enter more than one event over the weekend are most welcome to do so, and will then be eligible for winning the prestigious Double Twelve Trophy. (Please note, only scores from two events will count towards this trophy)

VSCC Members with a current Credit Card lodged with the Club and a Buff Form Number of the car they wish to enter are also welcome to enter online for the Driving Tests and Speed Trials events only – follow the links above. Those wishing to enter the Concours must print an Entry Form to complete and return.
