Wiltshire to welcome the VSCC Light Car & Edwardian Section this weekend

Friday 21 June 2013

This year’s LC&ES Summer Navigational Rally and Tour takes place this weekend, based at The Old Sarum Aerodrome, Wiltshire, one of the oldest First World War airfields still operating, and an attractive venue with camping and facilities.
Participants will arrive on the Saturday to enjoy the Pre-1960 Vintage Aircraft Fly-In during the afternoon (VSCC aviators welcome!) and/or explore some local attractions, such as Salisbury Cathedral, English Heritage Stonehenge, Old Sarum Hill Fort, or the Gurston Down Speed Hill Climb before supper in the evening accompanied by a blues band providing the evening entertainment.

Sunday will bring the 70 mile Navigational Rally designed by Barry Clarke (for those after some light mental stimulation) and the Tour (for those content just to admire the scenery), visiting the surrounding countryside around the picturesque cathedral City of Salisbury.

We wish all participants, marshals and organisers a wonderful weekend’s motorsport.
