Reminder: Mallory Entries close in 6 days time!

Please organise your entry for the Bob Gerard Memorial Trophy Race at Mallory Park this weekend as entries close this coming Wednesday, 3 July.
The Leicestershire venue is tailor-made for a VSCC Race Meeting; its short, quick circuit is ideally suited to our Pre-war and Historic machinery with the notoriously fast ‘Gerard’s Bend’ and tight ‘Shaw’s Hairpin’ just two of the highlights of a technical and thrilling lap. The famed island paddock layout lends itself perfectly to our events, with access for spectators over the bridge to wander freely around the paddock, bustling with the usual eclectic array of cars – just one reason why the event is so popular year on year with drivers and spectators alike.
The day’s programme of races includes what are, for many, some of the highlights of the Club’s racing season. In addition to the established VSCC ‘Sets’ – proving ever-popular with our regular competitors – we also look forward to our annual Edwardian Race; a truly unique occasion, the race often attracts some of the most rare and priceless Pre-1918 machines in existence, which never fail to put on a thrilling spectacle over their 6 lap handicap race. We also welcome Special Events for F3 (500) Racing Cars and are delighted to host the annual running of the John Taylor Memorial Trophy Race for Formula Junior Racing Cars. Spectators
Mallory Park offers some superb spectating areas to see our cars playing at their best. Practice will start at 9.30am with the afternoon’s Races commencing after lunch at approximately 1.00pm.
The award-winning ‘Island Diner’ is open all day, serving the best breakfasts and Sunday roast dinners and has a fully licensed bar for those not behind the wheel. With a good Vintage Car Park, Trade Village and free access to the competitor paddock as well, this is another VSCC meeting not to miss.
