A welcome return for the VSCC to this famous Pre-war circuit for the first time since 2011, this meeting is surely guaranteed to be popular with Competitors, Marshals and Spectators alike. Entries close soon so don't miss out and ensure to submit yours now!
To celebrate the centenary of the great Bob Gerard’s birth, whose distinguished racing career spanned both Pre- and Post-war periods, we have the usual eclectic mix of Pre-war races, combined with one for Front-engined Pre-1961 Racing Cars and the ever-popular F3 (500) Racing Cars, with a handful of Bob Gerard’s original cars already registered to attend*. In addition we are delighted to welcome the Edwardian Cars to Donington for their much-celebrated annual Handicap Race.

We hope to attract a number of cars with connections to Bob’s racing career, both to compete and be on display in the paddock on the day. We also hope to be able to arrange a short Track Parade of these cars during Lunch before the afternoon’s racing begins. So if you or someone you know has a car that was raced by or has connections to Bob Gerard and would like to be involved in the day’s celebrations as a competitor or simply to display, please contact the Press & PR Secretary, James Taylor at james.taylor@vscc.co.uk

As always, the action is not just confined to the track; there will also be our Trade Village which will offer unique and interesting motoring accessories, books and more for all car enthusiasts. The meeting promises to offer something for everyone, so make sure you come along and take part in the action at this important motor racing venue. Advance tickets are available from Donington Park only on 01332 819500. Last day to order tickets is Monday 14 July. Tickets will be available on the day at £15 per person and children under 14 go free!

This previous AGM and Awards Dinner Venue will be hosting a 3 course, fixed menu private dinner for VSCC Competitors and Members on Friday for £35pp. If you wish to join in with this please book (dinner only) with Gill Batkin on gill.batkin@vscc.co.uk or 01608 644777 Ext 5. As with the bedrooms there is a limited number of places, so please book early. You do not have to be staying at the Radisson Blu to join us.
If you do not wish to stay at the Radisson Blu there are alternate hotels nearby, notably an adjacent Holiday Inn Express and the East Midlands Thistle Hotel.
