Entries Closing Soon for the Norfolk Tour

Friday 10 July 2015

Following a year out last year, the Club’s Norfolk Tour returns to the calendar next month on Saturday 25 July – entries close this coming Monday so submit your entries now for this popular social event.
After years at the helm, Nigel Stennett-Cox stands down for a well earned rest this season, as fellow Club Member, Stuart Halsall takes on the role of Clerk of the Course. The day will start and finish in Attleborough, situated on the A11 between Thetford and Norwich, although the start will be at a different venue to the finish in the town.

The route is divided into three parts with the first section of approximately 20 miles to the 100th Bomber Group Memorial Museum. This is a well kept and presented museum with toilets and a café. The second section is approximately 40 miles to the day’s Lunch stop at High Lodge in the Thetford Forest. Here you will be able to picnic or purchase food and drinks in the Restaurant.  The final section is approximately 20 miles to the finish.

The route will take you on minor country roads with only short distances on busy road where they cannot be avoided.

Entry Fee: £25.00                             Closing Date: Monday 13 July
