VSCC Shelsley Walsh Photo Gallery Now Live

Monday 06 July 2015

A selection of photos from the Vintage Hill Climb at Shelsley Walsh is now available to view at the event page.
The popular annual event at the world’s oldest motorsport venue – still running events on the original course and in continuous use – took place on Sunday 5 July, kindly hosted by the Midlands Automobile Club and featured an ever-eclectic line-up of Pre-war Racing Sports-Cars, many having featured in period at the venue since its inception in 1905.

Celebrated examples from ERA, Frazer Nash, Bentley, Bugatti, Riley and more all featured across the day’s entry of 120 Pre-war machines.

Our thanks go to our MAC hosts and their marshalling teams who oversaw another splendid day of historic motorsport in the face of some severe adverse weather, which unfortunately curtailed the afternoon’s Competitive Runs.

Congratulations to Martin Spencer, who set the Provisional Fastest Time of the Day of 39.46 secs in his Ex-Basil Davenport 1938 GN Spider II, just half a second ahead of perennial VSCC Hill Climb Champion, James Baxter in ERA R4A.
