Glorious Sunshine And A New Class 3 Record At Wiscombe

111 competitors basked under glorious sunshine in front of a large crowd of spectators at one of the most picturesque events on the VSCC calendar.
A glorious day at Wiscombe Park on Sunday which saw 111 pre and post war, vintage and Edwardian cars tackle the hill in front a large crowd of spectators.  Fastest Time of the Day went to Ian Baxter in his 1937 Alta 61 I.S. with 47.54 seconds, whilst Charlie Martin in Justin Maeers' 1930/28 Morgan RIP Special took the honours for Fastest Vintage with 48.84 seconds (0.02 seconds shy of the class record).  Eddie Williams, in Charles Gillett's 1929 Frazer Nash Super Sports, set a new Class 3 record and took the title of Fastest Young Driver with a time of 50.19.  A day of vintage motoring at its best! For full results please click here
