Marshals Required for 80th Anniversary Events

The VSCC is celebrating its 80th Anniversary throughout 2014, with the celebrations specifically focusing on a week of special events, based at the East of England Showground, Peterborough from 4 – 9 August. We would now like to invite anyone who wishes to marshal on any of these days to submit their Volunteering Forms to the Club Office.

One of the most popular disciplines within the VSCC, there is little surprise that our Wiscombe Park Hill Climb will welcome another fantastic entry this Sunday 11 May to celebrate the start of the Club’s 80th Anniversary Hill Climb Season. Over 100 Pre-war and Historic Racing and Sports-Cars will descend on the stunning grounds of Wiscombe House, home to the Chichester family since 1953 located east of nearby Ottery St Mary, near Honiton in Devon, to take part in one of the Club’s most popular events.

This Sunday 4 May, our traditional Speed season curtain-raiser at Curborough will mark the historic 50th Anniversary of the Club’s celebrated Speed Trials at the Shenstone and District Car Club’s venue near Lichfield in Staffordshire. With a full entry of over 100 Pre-war Racing and Sports-Cars and almost 30 revered Pre-war marques showcased, it is sure to be a wonderful day’s Vintage motorsport.
