Wiscombe Park Hill Climb Provisional Results and Photos are now available

Wiscombe Hill Climb provided the opening round of the 2013 VSCC Hill Climb calendar last weekend.
A dry morning and large crowd provided the full entry of 130 competitors with a gentle start to the Hill Climb season, however, a short rain shower at lunchtime soon saw times increase in the damp conditions.

The Club is delighted to get this year’s Hill Climb season underway with our annual Wiscombe Park event taking place this Sunday 12 May, near Honiton in Devon. A full entry of 130 Pre-war and Historic Sports and Racing Cars will descend on the stunning grounds of Wiscombe House, home to the Chichester family since 1953 located east of nearby Ottery St Mary, just north of the Jurassic Coastline, to take part in one of the Club’s most popular events.

The sun-baked paddock at Silverstone last weekend was a sea of smiles as competitors got their 2013 Vintage and Historic Racing seasons off on the right track with the VSCC ‘Spring Start’ providing the perfect launch platform. Many competitors drove in three of four races over the weekend as the programme of 22 races catered for a wide variety of tastes.
