The Bonhams 25th annual Festival of Speed sale took place on Friday 30 June and saw the exceptionally rare 1973 Porsche 911 RS Lightweight realise an astonishing £830,300.

The VSCC begins the second half of another extensive annual calendar of events at the historic Shelsley Walsh, with this year’s ever-popular Vintage and Post-Vintage Thoroughbred Hill Climb becoming a two-day spectacular this upcoming first weekend in July, hosted once more by our friends at the resident Midland Automobile Club (MAC).

The 2017 Brooklands Double Twelve Motorsport Festival takes place this weekend, jointly organized again by Brooklands Museum and the Vintage Sports-Car Club, which this year sees the grand re-opening of the original Finishing Straight on Saturday 17 June, 110 years to the day that the circuit opened.
