Vintage Prescott 2025: A Weekend of Spirit, Speed and Sparkle

Tuesday 05 August 2025

Prescott once again lived up to its legendary status in the VSCC calendar, delivering a weekend full of competitive spirit, family fun, and Club camaraderie. With sunshine overhead and just one brief Sunday shower, this year’s Vintage Prescott proved to be more than just a hill climb.

From Austin 7s to ERAs, and even the Stanley Steamer, the paddock was full of variety and history. Alongside the on-track action, a raft of off-track activities brought the paddock to life: the newly revived Children’s Activity Tent kept younger members entertained with crafts and creativity, while Sunday morning’s bicycle races saw toddlers to teens (and a few brave adults) tackle the hill on two wheels.

Bonhams|Cars returned as a valued partner, hosting their ever-popular Saturday evening social and showcasing highlights from their upcoming sales. We are pleased to confirm that our partnership with Bonhams|Cars has been renewed for a further five years.

Club Charity Partner Kidney Research UK also joined the weekend, with games, raffles and a friendly competition for ‘most desirable car’, all in support of a vital cause.

On the hill, competition was fierce. Tight margins and personal bests were the story across many classes, with youth participation particularly strong. Nick Topliss secured Fastest Time of the Day in ERA R4A, while Tom Hardman, Theo Hunt, James Topliss, Archie Collings, and others delivered standout drives.

With sun, smiles, and close racing, Vintage Prescott 2025 was a timely reminder of all that makes the VSCC so special.
