Northern Delights in store for VSCC in April

Tuesday 22 January 2013

Entries are now being accepted for two of the Clubs most northerly based annual events.
The Scottish Trial, based in Biggar in the Scottish Borders will be held on Saturday 13 April, and is the only event held north of the border by the VSCC. Competitors and Marshals who travel north to this event are rewarded with a warm welcome, beautiful countryside and astounding trials sections, based on the estate of longstanding member Gerard McCosh. Jock MacKinnon once again takes up the mantel of Clerking this important event, supported this year for the first time by Lancastrian Martin Jelley in the role of Chief Marshal.

As usual Competitors and Marshals vying for Annual Aggregate Trophies can benefit from additional point incentives, whilst the best performing Scottish domiciled member is treated to the ‘Sammy Davis Cup’.

To close a busy month of event, the town of Leyland and the British Commercial Vehicle Museum plays host to the ‘Spring Rally’ on Saturday 27 April. Organised by the experienced team of Martin Jelley, Peter Booth and Stuart Cooke, competitors will be taken into a little-rallied area of the country and are sure to be treated to an exceptional route supported by clear and concise Route Instructions. Tailored for all levels of ability, this Rally will once again host the four-class structure of Experts, Semi-Experts, Novices and the highly successful Champagne Class designed for those new to regularity rallies.

To enter either of these events online simply log in and click on the EVENTS menu...find the event (you can make the search easier by using the filters on the right hand side for event type, date etc) and click on ‘Enter Event’ which will take you to the online entry system.
