The Vintage Sports-Car Club and the Light Car and Edwardian Section are saddened to confirm that a participant, Allen Clear, passed away whilst driving during the Friday Welsh Tour on 5 April 2024. 

The family would like to thank those VSCC members who helped and supported throughout the incident. 

The Club and Members of the VSCC and LCES are deeply saddened and our thoughts are with his friends and his family. The event continued in accordance with his family’s wishes as vintage cars were Allen’s lifelong passion and he would have wanted people to continue to enjoy the event as he had done with his Wife and grandkids for many years previously.
