Last Chance to enter Cadwell Park Race Meeting over the Bank Holiday Weekend!

Following the overwhelming success that was the Club’s ‘Spring Start‘ season opener at Silverstone in April, a first class VSCC Race Season continues at Cadwell Park on Saturday 8 June. We will continue to accept entries up until the end of day this upcoming Bank Holiday Monday (27 May) so don’t miss out and ensure you submit your entry now!
Amongst the full programme of the day’s 11 races, including the familiar VSCC Racing ‘Sets’, we are proud to once again host the Bugatti Owners’ Club’s hallowed Williams Trophy Race, sponsored by Bugatti specialists Ivan Dutton Ltd. The prestigious trophy is the very same given to William ‘Grover’ Williams, winner of the first Monaco Grand Prix in 1929, driving a Bugatti Type 35B. As such, we expect a strong entry of Molsheim machines, including Type 13, 35, 37, 39 and 51 models as well as a strong contingent of other eligible challengers in Pre-1935 two-seater Grand Prix Cars*. We also welcome our friends at the 500 Owners’ Association and Morgan Three Wheeler Club whose invited grids are fascinating compliments to our own Pre-war and Historic races whilst our Frazer Nash Race is an annual highlight.
* The BOC are again happy to consider entries for cars up to 1939 that may have been raced in Grand Prix in period too (e.g. Talbot-Lago, Delahaye, Maserati etc). Contact the Competition Department if you think your car qualifies.

Geoghegan Trophy for Standard & Modified Pre-war Sports-Cars (Set 3) – 7 Laps (£153)
Melville Trophy for Special Pre-war Sports-Cars (Set 4) – 7 Laps (£153)
Short Scratch Race for Pre-war Cars (Set 5) [ENTRIES NOW CLOSED FOR THIS RACE]
2 x Short Handicap Races for Pre-war Cars (Set 6) – 5 Laps (£126 each)
Williams Trophy for 2-seater Pre-1935 Grand Prix Cars – 8 Laps (£170)
Race for Frazer Nash and GN Cars – 6 Laps (£144)
Race for F3 (500) Racing Cars – 6 Laps (£144)

Download Supplementary Regulations and Entry Form, the latter to print, complete and return to the Club Office (fax/email accepted) or alternatively, Members who have a current Credit Card lodged with the Club and know the Buff Form Number of the car they wish to use can enter online at the Event page HERE.

A reminder of the VSCC/BOC Track Day, Cadwell Park, Friday 7 June
To all potential competitors and those already entered for Saturday’s Race Meeting, the BOC and VSCC will host a joint Track Day at Cadwell Park on the preceding Friday 7 June for all – whether in Pre- or Post-war Car, the day is the ideal shakedown for car and driver and all are welcome (preference will be given to Pre-war cars in the event of oversubscription). The day will be divided into sessions (to be determined dependent on numbers) and cars can be shared provided that both drivers only occupy a single slot in each of the allocated sessions (a separate Entry Form for each driver will be required). Entry Fee is £125 and there will be ARDS Qualified Instructors on hand for one-on-one sessions throughout the day (details of how to book your ½ hour session with an Instructor will be available soon).

NB For those staying on for Saturday’s Race Meeting, Signing-On and Scrutineering will be available on Friday Afternoon (approx 1500-1800hrs)!
