Last Chance to enter the VSCC Hertfordshire Tour

Entries close tomorrow for the Club’s upcoming Hertfordshire Tour, taking place on Saturday 25 June, open to all Pre-1941 cars driven by VSCC Members – don’t miss out and submit your entry now…
It’s not long now until the ‘Big Day’…no, not the EU Referendum but the Hertfordshire Tour on Saturday 25 June – the day after the result is announced. We offer a perfect opportunity to celebrate (or mourn) the outcome by having a relaxing tour through some classical bits of Olde England.
It seems unlikely that there has ever been a VSCC Hertfordshire Tour, so this will be a novel experience for participants as well as the local organising team. The Tour will feature North Herts, neighbouring North Essex and South Cambs; thatched cottages, flint churches and half-timbered buildings in rolling rural scenery and all starting just 35 miles north of Charing Cross on the old coach road from London to Cambridge.
Stop-offs have been arranged at two Vintage vehicle restoration shops, a Vintage aircraft restoration company (no, not Duxford and yes, there is a FIAT Biplane being restored) and a Vintage race preparation business. Other options include a live steam small gauge railway and a Stately Home. Shortcuts to the route will be available if you wish to dally at any of these.
En route you will pass several pubs good for Lunch, and several village greens ideal for a picnic. Petrol is available in the village at the start and there is also petrol near the finish, as well as en route. The Tour starts at 10.00am; with trailer parking available, near but not at the start venue.
Entry Fee: £25.00 per car (Entries Close Thursday 16 June)
Apart from Route Instructions, your fee includes (for two persons) tea/coffee plus a bacon or cheese roll at the start and refreshments at the finish.
Download Supplementary Regulations and an Entry Form or enter online from the event page (CLICK HERE). Remember you will need to know the Buff Form number of the car you wish to enter and have a current payment card registered with the Club to use the online entry facility (however, note Buff Forms are not required to participate - simply print an Entry Form to complete and return by post/email/fax).
