VSCC SPEED CHAMPIONSHIP 2016 – POINTS UPDATE (JUNE)

An update on the latest standings in the inaugural VSCC Speed Championship, following the BARC Harewood Vintage Hill Climb earlier this month.
A reminder that Points have been allocated within Class as follow:
Note: Current standings have been adjusted since the last update to reflect different point scales for Classes with less than five starters, as per regulation below:
CR 1.6.1 The maximum a class winner can score for a class win is 5 Points or equivalent to the number of starters in that class, whichever is less and scores of the runners up will be adjusted accordingly e.g. where a class has only 3 starters the class winner will receive 3 points, 2nd will receive 2 points and 3rd will receive 1 point.

A reminder to all those taking part that you claim Marshalling points once during the season – so if your car is ‘hors de combat’ for an event, why not offer your services to marshal on the day. It’s proved a great learning curve and rewarding experience for Competitors to see how events are run. Don’t forget to claim any Marshalling points earned in writing to the Competition Department!
